General Description
The EUROPARC Federation / Alfred Toepfer Foundation F.V.S. offers a grant to young promising conservationists with practical experience in the field of conservation and in the work of protected areas. These grants are intended to fund study visits to protected areas in a country other than the applicant´s country of origin. Grantees will be awarded a lump sum of 3000 euro.
Requirements
Applicants must be students and graduates of higher education institutions, studying environmentally relevant topics related to protected area management, or persons who are employed by a European protected area or a nature conservation institution; they should submit their full curriculum vitae, as well a letter of motivation, a planned programme of research trip, contact details of the protected area(s) to visit, and relevant certificates. Only applications from citizens of a European state who are not older than 35 years of age will be considered.
