The Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt is offering Central, Eastern, and Southeastern European postgraduate students the opportunity to study and perform research in Germany through its Study Program for Graduate Students. The goal of this program is to provide talented graduate students an opportunity to develop vocational and scientific skills which they can implement in their home countries. Between 60 and 80 scholarships are awarded annually to sponsor postgraduate students from qualified countries for research fellowships at select German universities.
Eligible students should be university graduates with an interest in undertaking a research fellowship in Germany. Only citizens of specified Central, Eastern, and Southeastern European countries can apply for this program.
