The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment from the Government of Spain is offering Traineeships in Rural Development and Forest Policy for young graduates in sciences related to the rural environment with the aim to expand and consolidate the knowledge and professional qualifications by participating in the development and application of national standards in Rural Development and Forest Policy, developing economic analysis and reports, participating in management systems, among others. Length: from the date of resolution of the grant until December 31st. of the year in which it is awarded, and can be extended up to a total maximum of 24 months. Value: EURO 1,200 per month.
Applicants must have the Spain nationality or from any other EU country; have obtained Bachelor’s degree at least 6 years before this call in any discipline related with this scholarship (Agriculture and Environment, Sustainable Use of Water Resources, Agricultural Systems, Agricultural Pollution and Waste Management, Climate Change in Rural Areas, Rural Environment and Energy, Green Economy and Renewable Energy, Population and Rural Areas, Immigration and Agriculture/Rural Areas, Women and Rural Areas/Fishing Environment); proficiency in Spanish (for non-native Spanish), and English knowledge; Maximum age of 32 years; proficiency in word processors, spread sheets and presentations software.
