General Description
Spain's Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness has issued a call for 42 intermediate students to receive Introduction to Research scholarships. The aim is to help students who are making career choices by providing financial assistance for career training. The award will vary based on how far the student is from the focus of their work plan. If the student is more than 60km from the site, they will receive 2000 Euros and a rail pass for the duration of the training period. If they are less than 60km away, the amount awarded is 1500 Euros. The scholarship length is two months. One-half is paid during the first month and the rest during the second month.
Requirements
The scholarship is open to students from all countries. It is restricted to students who have completed between 40% and 80% of their degree. An average grade point average of at least 1.8 on a 4 point scale is required. Applications are judged on academic record and extracurricular activities.
