General Description
The Nordic Africa Institute wishes to encourage research and studies on Africa in the Nordic countries. One-month scholarships are awarded for use of the institute's library. The scholarships cover travel expenses to and from Uppsala. The scholarships cover a shared office and free accommodation while in Uppsala.
Requirements
Application is open for students pursuing Africa-oriented studies in the fields of social sciences and humanities at universities and colleges in the Nordic countries. A basic academic degree is necessary in order to apply. The scholarships are also open for Africa-oriented journalists and textbook writers in the Nordic countries.
