The Camilo José Cela University (UCJC) has two Academic Excellence Scholarships available for degree students (except for Adaptation Course Grade). UCJC scholarships and grantsare generally not cumulative. Students may only benefit from one scholarship. The High Academic Performance Scholarship is offered by the Community of Madrid. This scholarship targets students with an outstanding academic record. The scholarship covers between 50% and 90% of tuition and course credits chosen as well as a 20% discount for student residence at UCJC. There is also the Scholarship for High Academic Performance offered by UCJC. This scholarship covers between 30% and 50% of tuition fees, loans for one academic year and 20% discount on student residence at UCJC. The grant and scholarship amount will depend on the student's final grade. Scholarships must be renewed annually.
Candidates must be admitted to the UCJC for a degree course. For the Community of Madrid grant, students who meet the qualifying grade requirement will receive a scholarship. For the UCJC scholarship, students need to have a grade point average of 7.5 at high school or 8.0 in college. Second year students must be enrolled for 45 credits or more. Second year students must have a grade point average of 8.0 or above and have passed all subjects to qualify.
