General Description

The City of Clermont-Ferrand offers scholarships to modest-income university students who wish to do a work placement of a minimum of one month in one of its twinned European cities, either Aberdeen in Scotland, Braga in Portugal, Gomel in Belarus, Oviedo in Spain, Regensburg in Germany or Salford in England. The value of the scholarship depends on the estimated travel and accommodation costs related to the specific work placement and the student's primary household income. The city can fund from 10 to 50 % of the costs related to the placement. The awarded scholarship is paid to the student only after completion of the placement and reception of the documentation related to expenses.

Requirements

Candidates must submit an application for the scholarship to the City of Clermont-Ferrand before their work placement begins. A family quotient will be established based on the family's total monthly revenue and the number of people living in the household. If the family quotient is superior to 800 euros, the application will automatically be rejected.
