The Region of Île-de-France promotes international mobility by funding work placements and professional development opportunities for young job seekers and recent graduates in the province of Quebec, Canada. Each year, 200 job seekers receive the opportunity to undertake a three to twelve week professional placement, mostly in the metropolitan area of Montreal. The Office franco-québécois pour la jeunesse funds some costs related to air fare and gives a monthly financial aid to participants. The allocated amount depends on the length of the placement.
Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old. They must either by enrolled in the Pôle Emploi International programme, a recent graduate, or a young professional or entrepreneur. The programme is open to residents of Île-de-France only./p>
