About this scholarship

What You Get

The Raimund Pradler Private Foundation helps students who cannot afford university by arranging affordable accommodation — specifically, low-cost rooms and subsidised places in student halls of residence. Support is arranged individually based on your situation. Note that accommodation is currently only available in Vienna, Austria. There is no cash grant at this time.

Who Can Apply

  • Study level: You are starting or continuing a degree at a university or similar higher education institution.
  • Financial need: Your personal financial situation makes it difficult or impossible to fund your studies yourself.
  • Field of study: Any subject is eligible — there is no restriction on discipline.
  • Nationality: Open to all nationalities.

Good to Know

The foundation's board decides each case individually. There is no legal right to receive support — the board can approve or decline any application at its discretion.
