General Description
The monetary support for tuition fees is assigned taking into account the monthly income of the household according to the following scales: The first step: The benefit is value corresponding to the maximum tuition fee of a bachelor degree or the amount actually paid by the student in the case this is lower and this will benefit students whose household income household monthly per capita is below € 300.00. Then there is the second step: The benefit is equal to the difference between the minimum kickback and the maximum tuition fee or the amount actually paid by the student, whichever is lower and this will benefit students whose household income household monthly per capita is less than € 300.00 since no exceed the limit of capitation defined in Article 7; 2 The monetary support for proven emergency situations shall not exceed the value corresponding to the difference between the minimum and the maximum award unless the reorganization of the applicant's life, assessed by the Department of Social Action of the University Coimbra, can justify the assignment of a second contribution to the limit of the same value.
Requirements
Students must be in financial need as specified above, and must be enrolled in a participating course.
