The Turkish Government has established the Türkiye Scholarship programme to support graduate students wishing to continue their education at a Turkish university. Scholarship recipients will be awarded a monthly allowance of 565 US dollars (currently about 420 euro) for doctoral students and 423,75 US dollars (currently about 310 euro) for Master´s degree students. Funding is provided for one year.
These scholarships are open to graduate students interested in completing Master´s degree and doctoral studies at a Turkish universities. The selection of candidates is carried out according to academic achievement and interview performance. Türkiye Scholarships is a program based on academic success of the candidates. The academic performance of applicants will be measured according to the following criteria: diploma grade, general average grades received until the last term (cumulative GPA), university entrance exam grade (if any), high school graduation exam/Baccalaureate grade (if any), international test score (if any) and other relevant academic assessment scores. Candidates are required not to be older than 35 years old for prospective doctoral students and 30 years old for prospective Master´s degree students.
