East Foundation - Short-term scholarship for Far-east students to study in Portugal or for Portuguese students to study in Far-east countries

General Description

The Fundação Oriente grants short-term scholarships for students from countries in the Far East. The short-term scholarships are also for Portuguese students that wish to get to know the Far East countries. The scholarship offers courses and traineeships and study visits in Portugal. The Portuguese citizens in the the Far East will also have courses and traineeships and study visits to know more about the Far East culture. The scholarships have duration between 30 and 90 days. The Fundação Oriente awards scholarships in the following areas: Visual Arts, History, History of Art, Design, Photography, Architecture, Museology and Conservation and Restoration and Anthropology. Priority will be given to candidates whose concrete results might be useful in the Oriental Museum.

Requirements

Interested students should submit the form available on this website or the Foundation. Attached with the following documents: Curriculum vitae; Certificates of academic qualifications; Detailed plan of the course, internship or study tour; Document acceptance of qualified advisor and/or registration at the host institution; Two reference letters from the applicant or project; In case of application in the artistic area the candidate should hand over the portfolio and press kit.
