General Description
The Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research (OeAD-GmbH) offers the Indonesia - Austria Scholarship Programme for Indonesian students pursuing a doctoral degree in Austria. A monthly amount of 1000 euro will be provided for a maximum of 36 months.
Requirements
This scholarship is open to prospective doctoral students from Indonesia who meet the admission requirements of an Austrian higher education institution. A scan of transcripts and graduation certificates of former studies (Diploma, Bachelor, Master, PhD or Doctoral studies) will be required; the English language skills of candidates must be on a level equivalent to 500 or more points in the TOEFL exam scale and 5.5 or more points in the IELTS exam scale. Knowledge of German language can also be required if applicable. A letter from a member of the academic staff of an Austrian university accepting the role of academic supervisor must also be submitted. Candidates are required to be Indonesian nationals. The age limit is set at 35 years old.
