General Description

Students of the Uczelnia Zawodowa Zagłębia Miedziowego in Lubin may be granted one or more forms of stationary and non-stationary non-repayable financial aids. One of such aids is special scholarship for people with disabilities. The amount of the scholarship is defined individually for each application by university's council. The only criteria for granting this special scholarship is the degree of disability of the student.

Requirements

The special scholarship for people with disabilities may be received by a student with a disability confirmed the judgment of the competent authority like medical council for adjudication of disability, which categorized a student into a group of people with severe, moderate or slight disability, or judgments of the medical officer of the Zakład Ubezpieczeń Społecznych, which recognizes student as person with a total inability to work and live independently, total incapacity to work or partial inability to work. The scholarship is awarded for a semester. A student who submits an application for a special grant has to attach a paper copy of confirmation that a degree of disability and difficulties in gaining access to knowledge, resulting from reduced or limited physical ability and provide ID of person disabled.
