The Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research (BMWF) offers scholarships for graduates from Austrian universities admitted to a one-year master programme taught in a non-German speaking country. These scholarships will consist on a monthly stipend of 920 euro (1090 euro for students travelling to Japan), which will be granted for 8 to 12 months; a subsidy up to a maximum of 10900 Euro or 2/3 of the tuition fees can also be awarded. This programme is not currently being awarded.
Applicants must be outstanding graduate students which have completed a Master, Diplom or doctoral degree an Austrian university predominantly funded by the BMWF. The planned master programme must not be in the same field of studies as the programme studied in Austria.
