General Description
The selection of grantees will be a proposal of the Board Thracian Hearth Thessaloniki and decision of the committee appointed by the Assoc. The final decision is the responsibility of the Secretary General of the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia and Thrace. The nominal list of candidates and fellows will be posted on the bulletin boards of the Endowments Department and online. If equal candidates, the candidate will be determined through public lottery. The scholarship may be extended for one year or a maximum of two years provided the scholarship terms have not been breached. The approval of an extension of the grant is the responsibility of the Secretary General of the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia-Thrace acting upon the recommendation of the Rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Requirements
SUPPORTING EXTENDING SCHOLARSHIP: For the extension of the scholarship application the following documents are required: 1. Certificate of further education regarding the continuation of studies and the expected end of study. 2. Progress Report of the fellow (eg curricula followed, work submitted, any score given, etc.), the need to continue his studies to obtain a postgraduate degree, 3. Two letters from responsible teachers of the institution abroad on scientific merit scholarship and performance in studies with a proposal to extend the scholarship.
