General Description

The German-French Youth Foundation (DFJW) aims to foster the cooperation between Germany and France. As part of the program intensive language courses are offered to suitable candidates. The language course shall be the preparation for an official semester abroad or an internship of 4 weeks minimum in France within the scope of the students degree course. The scholarship includes the complete coverage of tuition fees and a lump-sum for transportation expenses. The course lengths is 3-4 weeks.


Students of all academic disciplines, except Romance studies, can apply for this program. Application is possible during all stages of studies. The application should be filed two months prior to the desired starting date of the language course. Basic French language skills should be given.
