General Description
Within the scope of the Germany Scholarship Programme of the Federal Government, scholarships have been awarded at the Martin Luther University in Halle Wittenberg since 2011. The Germany Scholarship consists of a monthly sponsorship of 300 Euro per month. The scholarship is initially paid for a year, yet, in accordance with academic performance, the sponsorship can be extended to the regular course of study.
Requirements
Fundamentally, current students in all faculties can apply for the Germany Scholarship. This Germany Scholarship is intended for students currently enrolled at the Martin Luther University in Halle Wittenberg. The application can be submitted at any point during the course of study. New students should demonstrate an outstanding grade average in their Abitur (school leaving examinations). Current students beyond the second academic semester must have achieved outstanding performance to date in their course of study. Moreover, social involvement will be taken into consideration in the evaluation of the application. There are no further prerequisites stipulated.
