General Description

The Einstein-Forum and the Daimler Benz Foundation are the benefactors behind this award. Scholarships are granted to young scientists from Germany or abroad who have shown extraordinary performance and interdisciplinary engagement. The program pays a lump-sum of 10.000€ towards the chosen applicant. Further an internship of 5-6 months at the Einstein-house in Caputh is granted. Travel expenses are covered. This program addresses students enrolled in Humane Disciplines, Natural or Social Sciences, who are working on their Doctorate studies. Only new projects are supported.

Requirements

This program targets young scientists with a qualified degree within the areas of Humane Disciplines, Social or Natural Sciences. Extraordinary academic success and great performance are expected. Assessment is based upon the candidates originality and the quality of the research paper. Only applicants younger than 35 years of age will be considered.
