General Description
The Fulbright Commission is the benefactor behind this award. The Diversity Initiative has been created to grant scholarships to talented and skilled immigrants with an A-Level qualification. The program enables students to partake in Summer Schools at the University of Lexington in the USA. Students can improve their English and intercultural skills. The scholarship pays all tuition fees and additional expenses connected to the trip. Further the candidate is paid a monthly lump-sum to cover pocket expenses.
Requirements
A-Level students and degree students of all disciplines may apply. Students have to be enrolled between the first and fourth degree semester at a German university and who are interested in the USA. Only applicants with an immigrant background are entitled to apply. Good to very good scholastic and academic performance is expected. Social competencies, the ability to work in teams and English language skills are pre-requisites.
