General Description

The Otto Benecke Foundation offers scholarships to young immigrants and immigrant women in the continuation and completion of their training in Germany. This is done as part of the program "Guarantee fund higher education". The Foundation is working with the education of youth migration consulting services and advice in all aspects of academic and vocational integration, support young immigrants in receiving and pursuing higher studies and get started in an academic work environment. The consultation takes place on the basis of an analysis of the acquired education in the country of origin and educational attainment of the objective in Germany training or career goals. The work in all the training steps are determined jointly with the fellow an individual education and nomenclature. In addition, the consultants and counselors provide information on the opportunities for higher education or for entry into an academic profession in Germany, participation in training the Otto Benecke Foundation eV and discuss the possibilities of financial support (guarantee fund higher education, BaföG etc. ).

Requirements

This scholarship is aimed at young migrants who wish to gain a university entrance in Germany, to prepare for higher education and aspire to an academic career and as refugees, repatriates (or their relatives) or live as a Jewish immigrant in Germany. The grant application must be made before reaching 30 years of age.
