About this grant / loan

Deloitte España student placement (beca)

At Deloitte in Spain, you’ll be offered a paid work placement, which you can undertake alongside your studies. This ‘beca’ is an internship that is combined with your studies: From day one, you’ll work as part of a real team, receive a salary and benefit from ongoing support and professional development. You can choose the business area that best suits your degree: Consulting, Risk Advisory, Financial Advisory, Audit & Assurance, Legal, Business Process Solutions or internal functions. Deloitte has 22 offices across Spain, from Madrid and Barcelona to A Coruña, Bilbao, Seville, Valencia, Málaga and Palma, so you can work close to where you live. Each work placement lasts for a four-month term (“cuatrimestral”) and can be extended on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the agreement with your university. The exact remuneration is not disclosed.

Who can apply

  • Study year: You are in the final or penultimate year of your university degree.
  • University agreement: Your university has a cooperation agreement (‘convenio’) with Deloitte. Please check with your university to see whether such an agreement already exists or can be drawn up.
  • Field of study: You’ll be studying business administration, finance, economics or law – depending on the business area you’ve chosen.
  • Grades: You have achieved good results at school.
  • English: You have a very good command of English.
  • Where you study: The assignment will take place in Spain, at one of Deloitte’s Spanish offices.

How to apply

Apply online via Deloitte’s careers portal and select a role that matches your profile. As new vacancies are advertised all the time, there is no fixed application deadline. The selection process comprises several stages: a review of your CV, an initial telephone interview, online tests (English, numerical aptitude and logical reasoning), an interview with the HR department, and a final interview with experts from your chosen business area.

How realistic are your chances?

As this is an entry-level role at a large company, many students apply, and the multi-stage selection process is extremely competitive. Two factors work in your favour: you need a partnership agreement between your university and Deloitte, as well as a very good command of English and good grades. If you clearly meet these requirements and apply for a role that matches your degree programme, your chances are good.
