La Fondation de France accorde des bourses à travers son prix Jean Valada pour la recherche dans le domaine médical, sur des sujets de diagnostiques, de thérapies ou de pathophysiologie. Les chercheurs expérimentés seront octroyés de 35000€, et les jeunes chercheurs de 18000€.

Les candidats doivent être de nationalité française, mais n'ont pas à être des résidents français.
