About this scholarship
General Description
An important program of scholarships is named "Microsoft Research PhD Scholarship Programme" for EMEA. It was established in 2004 and every year they selected 20 research projects to be allocated to deserving graduate students who will be able to work the following year. The supervisors have a year to elect the best student. The topics for research must be closely linked to Microsoft Research in Cambridge, such as Computational Science, Computer-Mediated Living, Constraint Reasoning and more. For each project will then be assigned a Microsoft researcher. Applications received directly by students, not by supervisors, will therefore be rejected.Requirements
After the choice of the student, a CV must be attached together with a letter of introduction (not from supervisor). The student may be contacted for an interview. The scholarships Microsoft have the duration of one year, renewable up to a maximum of three years, based on student's performance.Similar scholarships
