General Description

The Frederick Soddy Award is worth up to £6,000. It is funded by the Frederick Soddy Trust. Frederick Soddy was a Nobel Prize winning atomic scientist. The award is administered by the Royal Geographical Society. It is available to PhD students. Students can apply individually or in groups. It is for fieldwork or research around the world. The aim of the fieldwork or research should be the study of social, economic and cultural life.
