General information on this scholarship
General Description
Merit scholarship is intended for the exchange students, from partner Universities, with interest in studying at JKU. This scholarship is granted by Uper Austria government.
There are three types of this scholarship that students can apply for: a) Full scholarship of 550 Euros per month, b) Accomodation scholarship and c) Travel and top-up scholarships of up to 1.000 Euros per month. The types and amounts of the scholarships are awarded with the discretion of JKU.
Scholarships will be awarded for the academic year or semester.
Requirements
The scholarship is open to exchange students from partner universities (preferably from non-Erasmus countries) wishing to study at the JKU, but with insufficient financial resources. Students are awarded based on their academic background, financial need and the exchange balance.
