General Description

In an effort to develop and strengthen Indo-French scientific cooperation, CEFIPRA, the Government of France and the Government of India offer fellowships to doctoral students of France and India who study in the fields of science, technology and innovation. Successful candidates will carry out part of their research in a foreign university based in France or India for a duration of three to six months. Indian students researching in France will receive a monthly stipend for living expenses of 1,300 euros, and French students in India a monthly stipend of 40,000 rupees. A return air ticket and insurance are also covered.

Requirements

Candidates have to be of Indian or French nationality and be no more than 30 years of age. They should already have a master's degree from a recognised university. Eligible fields of doctoral research are atmospheric and earth sciences, life sciences and medicine, chemistry, material sciences, engineering sciences, mathematical and computational sciences, and physical sciences.
