Tower Hamlets Council - Mayor's Higher Education Award

General Description

The Mayor’s Higher Education Award scheme, established by the Tower Hamlets Council, will give up to 400 grants to first year higher education students from Tower Hamlets to assist with the cost of their studies. Every student who is offered a Mayor’s HE Award will receive £1500.

Requirements

This scholarship is open to students living in Tower Hamlets for at least 3 years at the time of application who are attending or intending to attend the first year of a higher education degree taught at a British university. Applicants must be eligible for support from Student Finance England. The age limit for candidates is set at 24 years old (25 25 if the student receives Disability Living Allowance).
