General Description

Within the framework of the Germany Scholarship Programme, the Bayreuth University awards scholarships to exceptionally gifted new and current students. The Germany Scholarship consists of a monthly sponsorship in the amount of 300 Euro. The scholarship is initially paid for a year and can in accordance with academic performance, be extended to the length of standard course of study.

Requirements

New and current students from all faculties are invited to apply to the Germany Scholarship. This funding is open to current students at the Bayreuth University. New students should have achieved an outstanding grade point average in their Abitur (school leaving examinations). Current students must have achieved very good performance to date in their course of study. Moreover, social involvement will be taken into consideration in the evaluation of the application. Special consideration will also be given to social, family and personal circumstances.
