General Description

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) offers Postgraduate Masters Scholarships. These scholarships are designed for outstanding graduates with an IMechE accredited BEng(Hons) degree which lets them undertake an IMechE accredited Masters degree. The goal here is to obtain the academic requirements for professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng). The scholarship for full-time students is worth up to £ 6,500, and for part-time students it is pro rata.

Requirements

The students need to be UK residents; they need to be starting their IMechE masters degree in the succeeding academic session. They also need to have received the offer of a place at the university. Moreover, they should have a first class or 2:1 honours IMechE accredited degree. Also, the applications should be supported by three referees, which is described in details on the website.
