General Description
The Austrian Study Grant Authority offers international mobility scholarships for students who are receiving regular student support (Studienbeihilfe) from the Austrian government. The recipients will be paid up to 582 Euro a month (the exact quantity depends on the cost of tuition and living in the host country) for a maximum of 20 months (12 months for academies). Students who are awarded this grant are still entitled to the regular Studienbeihilfe while they are abroad, since the two scholarships are fully compatible.
Requirements
The students participating in this programme will be required to achieve certain standards of academic success while they are receiving the scholarship (further information can be found here). Therefore, all transcripts of courses followed abroad have to be submitted to the scholarship office of the student´s home university; otherwise the student may be demanded to repay the grant.
