Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology - Access Scholarships

General Description

The Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology provides students entering GMIT from post-primary schools in Galway, Mayo and Roscommon with ten scholarships. Each scholarship is worth €5,000. Payment will be in increments over the duration of the programme of study.

Requirements

These scholarships are intended for students with EU citizenship, who have attended one of the designated schools. Applicants must have obtained or about to obtain a Leaving Certificate, and have applied for GMIT through CAO. Those whose parents’ income is over the threshold for the third-level maintenance grant scheme cannot apply. Academic reference is required.
