UK Government - Maintainance grants

General Description

Maintenance grants are available to help students cover living costs and other expenses connected with their studies at UK universities. They are means tested so the amount of the award varies. Students who come from households with a high level of income receive very little and many receive nothing. The maximum award for lower income households is about £3,400. The grant is for a period of one year.

Requirements

Students must be from the UK and studying full-time in order to qualify.
