About this scholarship

General Description

A set of loans and grants to students who need assistance.

The Student Loans Company (SLC) provides loans to cover partially or totally the tuition fee of £9000.

A government-funded maintenance loans scheme is also available. This type of loans is used to help with living costs and accommodation. About 35% of this loan is means tested. Loans can amount up to £5,740.

For students with low household income, a means tested maintenance grant scheme is available. Students with a household income below £25,000 get the maximum grant of £3,387.

Requirements

Tuition fee loans are available to UK/EU students. Maintenance grants and loans are only open to UK students.
