About this scholarship

General Description

The Max Kade Foundation offers the AAF Max Kade Clinical Clerkships in the USA to students of Medicine interested in a short-term academic visit to the United States. Recipients will be awarded a travel stipend; all other expenses are to be covered by the students themselves.

Requirements

Austrian medical students are eligible to complete a clinical clerkship in the US in their 5th year of medical school. Each US medical school has its own set of requirements; however, candidates must as a rule have completed the following electives prior to starting the clinical clerkship: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics and Psychiatry.
