About this award / prize

General Description

A number of scholarships will be awarded by the University of Birmingham in the frame of the Joseph Chamberlain PG Scholarship scheme. The postgraduate students who benefit from this offer will be exempt from paying tuition fees if they’re British, otherwise they’ll have to pay the difference.

Requirements

This scheme is available only to Engineering Schools and to College of Social Sciences (except Education). Also the applicant’s parents must be bona fide residents in the former West Midlands County for the immediate past 4 years. Students who verify the residency conditions themselves are eligible.
