General Description

Aberdeen University offers the Jim Duncan Scholarships to anyone who has decided to undertake a university degree after having a break in their education. There are two Jum Duncan Scholarships available; the scholarships shall initially be awarded for a two year period of the undergraduate course in order to give security to the scholar awarded. Thereafter, the scholar may apply to have the scholarship renewed on an annual basis. Each scholarship is valued at £1,500 per annum.

Requirements

This scholarship is open to students enrolled at Aberdeen University. Priority is given to students pursuing a medical degree. Applicants must be resuming their education after an interuption; the scholarships will be awarded on the basis of financial need and academic potential.
