University of Ulster - New England Alumni Association Boston Step-Up Scholarship

General Description

The New England Alumni Association Boston Step-Up Scholarship is funded by the University of Ulster New England Alumni Association. The scholarship is worth £1,000 a year. One scholarship is awarded each year and the successful student gets the award for a maximum of four years. The scholarship is to help students who qualified through the university's Step-Up Programme. It is a scheme that helps students from economic and socially disadvantaged backgrounds get into further education.

Requirements

Only students who qualify through the University of Ulster's Step-Up Programme are eligible for this award. Students must also be registered as first year undergraduate students. Only students undertaking full-time courses will be considered. After the first year continued awards are dependent on successful academic progress.
