SOFCOT- French Society for Orthopaedic Surgery - SOFCOT Grants for Foreign Candidates

General Description

The French Society for Orthopaedic Surgery (SOFCOT) awards various fellowship grants. The SOFCOT grant for foreign candidates comes in the form of a €10000 6-month stipend (plus an extra €1000 for students outside the EU), or a €20000 1-year stipend (plus an extra €2000 for students outside the EU), provided to qualified or trainee orthopaedic surgeons to study in France.

Requirements

Candidates must be under 40 years of age, and must not have received grants in the past from SOFCOT, the French College of Medicine, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or the French Government. Applicants must have a letter of recommendation and should not be French nationals.
