General Description
The Academia Sinica, within the framework of the Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP), awards internship grants to provide outstanding young scholars from around the globe with the opportunity to participate in research projects at Taiwanese institutions. Recipients will be awarded NT$30000 (currently about 730 euro) monthly for a two month period.
Requirements
The research programmes offered are: Chemical Biology and Molecular Biophysics, Molecular Science and Technology, Molecular and Biological Agricultural Sciences, Bioinformatics, Molecular and Cell Biology, Nano Science and Technology, Molecular Medicine, Earth System Science, Biodiversity, Interdisciplinary Neuroscience, Sustainable Chemical Science and Technology, and Social Networks and Human-Centered Computing. Applicants must have completed a Bachelor´s degree by August; doctoral students are not eligible for these scholarships. Two letters of recommendation are required, as well as a statement of purpose, the applicant´s curriculum vitae and an original academic transcript.
