Ruhr-Universität Bochum - PROMOS - Förderung von Auslandsaufenthalten

General Description

Within the framework of the DAAD-Programme PROMOS, the Ruhr University in Bochum offers scholarship to support the international mobility of German and foreign students. The support should allow students to complete a semester abroad. The scholarship amount varies depending on the destination country from 250 Euro to a maximum of 500 Euro and can be received for a maximum period of 6 months. Additionally, a one time lump sum amount between 125 – 1,600 Euro (dependent on the destination country and the duration of the stay) will be paid for travel costs.

Requirements

German students as well as foreign students (in accordance with §8 BaföG) enrolled at the Ruhr University in Bochum are invited to apply. Applications for this scholarship can be made at any point in the course of study. In the evaluation of the applications, the academic performance to date as well as the subject area and quality of the planned study abroad project will be considered.
