General Description

The Merit Awards of the Institute of Political Studies (IPS) of the Catholic University of Portugal are bestowed to candidates admitted and enrolled in IPS first cycle courses.

Requirements

These Merit Scholarships and IPS Grants Awards are attributed to first year students and to students enrolled in subsequent course years. The requirements are as follows:

a) All eligible students with an average grade of 17 or above (out of 20) marks will be given full tuition for the ECTs planned for the curriculum proposed for the following school year.

b) All eligible students with an average grade of 16.5 or above will be awarded an IPS Fellowship Award. This particular Award comprises 50% exemption of the tuition fees for the ECTs planned for the curriculum proposed for the subsequent school year.

c) All eligible students with an average grade of 16 or above will be awarded an IPS Fellowship Award. This particular Award comprises 25% exemption of the tuition fees for the ECTs planned for the curriculum proposed for the subsequent school year.
