Wellcome Trust - Society and Ethics Doctoral Studentships

General Description

The Wellcome Trust funds up to three years of full-time research leading to a doctoral degree in the field of Society and Ethics. A student’s stipend is provided, and university/college fees are covered as well as fixed amount to cover some other costs.

Requirements

The degree has to be taken at a university in the UK, the Republic of Ireland or a low- or middle-income country. Persons planning to continue their academic career within the area will be preferred. A Master's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject is expected, but not strictly required. Fees will be covered at the overseas rate for persons from low- or middle-income countries.
