General Description

The city of cologne awards the Friedrich-Vordemberge-scholarship once a year in order to promote young artists of the visual arts. The funding amount is 10.000€.

Requirements

The scholarship is directed towards students of the fine arts, in particular painting, sculpture, drawing, installation, performance and printed graphics. Applicants should provide convincing evidence of their career. Alternatively hard to finance projects or projects worthy of support can also be supported. Candidates need to live and work in North Rhine-Westphalia and cannot be older than 35 years.
