University of Limerick - Edith and Leslie Downer Entrance Scholarship

General Description

The Edith and Leslie Downer Entrance Scholarship was established in memory of the parents of the President Emeritus of the University, Professor Roger Downer. This scholarship is intended for incoming students. It is awarded to the student that attains the highest Leaving Certificate points. The students must be enrolled in one of the following programs to be eligible: BSc Nursing, BSc Nursing Mental Health, or BSc Nursing Intellectual Disability. The student must be considered full time. Successful students will receive €1,000. This scholarship is tenable.

Requirements

The applicants must be students at the University of Limerick. The students must be incoming. The students must be registered in one of the following majors: BSc Nursing, BSc Nursing Mental Health, or BSc Nursing Intellectual Disability. The student must be considered a full-time student. The student must be a citizen and permanent resident of Ireland.
