General Description

The National University of Ireland in Galway offers Excellence Scholarships. They are available to students enrolled in relevant full-time primary degree courses who have received the necessary points on their Leaving Certificate Examination. The value of the scholarship is €1,500 and can be held with other external awards or awards from NUI Galway.

Requirements

NUI Galway assesses the grades of entrants by taking into consideration six subjects that appear on the student’s Leaving Certificate Examination. The scholarship is only available to first year students but students can be on any full-time degree course offered at the university. It is awarded using a points-based system.
