General Description

The “Application” program is an initiative of the German National Academic Foundation. The goal is to assist young and talented students in the early stages of their studies. Students may apply before having completed the second semester of their degree course. The monthly stipend consist of a lump-sum 597€ and additional 300€ for books and educational equipment. The maximum duration is up to the completion of the standard period of study.

Requirements

Applicants must be Germans, EEA citizens or educational residents in Germany. Interested students are expected to differentiate themselves from the competition through exceptional performance, personal responsibility and initiative projects outside of academia.
