About this scholarship

General Description

The Austrian Ministry of Science and Research is a mobility programme for graduates in Linguistics and Cultural Studies interested in teaching German language and Austrian culture abroad. Participants in this programme are rewarded with a yearly stipend of up to 18170 Euro (the exact sum depends on the destination country chosen), which can be granted for a maximum of 5 years (4 years in the case of Western European countries).

Requirements

Applicants must have completed a Magister or Master´s degree in Humanities or Linguistics and Cultural Studies within the last 10 years; this degree must have been issued by an Austrian university. Their command of the German language must be equivalent to that of a native speaker. Only applications from permanent residents of Austria will be considered.
