Japanese Association of University Women - JAUW International Fellowship Program

General Description

The Japanese Association of University Women offers two fellowships to women from nations other than Japan. The fellowships provide assistance to women from other countries who wish to study or conduct a research project in Japan. The maximum amount awarded will be ¥1,000,000 per grantee (currently about 7,300 Euro). One-third will be paid at the time of arrival, with the remainder paid depending on the circumstances. The fellowship is for up to six months between September and March.

Requirements

The fellowship is for women only. Applicants must have attained at least a Master's degree or its equivalent. Students at a pre-doctoral or dissertation level above a Master's degree may also apply.
