About this scholarship
General Description
In an effort to increase capacity and development in sustainable and renewable energy in developing countries and countries in transition, UNESCO and the International Centre for Sustainable Energy Development (ISEDC) are offering one-month fellowships to 20 students who wish to study or train in Russia. Tuition fees will be covered for the entire duration of the programme. Successful candidates will also receive a monthly 800 $ (US) allowance for living expenses and a round-trip air ticket.
Requirements
Eligible candidates must be citizens of a developing country or country in transition from an invited member state. They must hold at least a bachelor of science or a bachelor in economics degree. All candidates must be no more than 25 years of age and proficient in the Russian language. Eligible fields of study are energy and sustainable development, ecological management of energy resources, renewable energy, and sustainable and renewable energy power generation.
